Maurice Wilson
Maurice Wilson MC (21 April 1898 – 1934) was a British soldier, mystic, mountaineer and aviator, he planed to crash land high on the mountain and climb from there. ( 1934.) Often characterised as "eccentric", he wished to climb Everest as a platform to promote his belief that the world's ills could be solved by a combination of fasting and faith in God. Despite his lack of mountaineering or flying experience, he succeeded in flying from Britain to India, surreptitiously entering Tibet dressed as a deaf, mute ailing monk. He brought no equipment of his own but luckily came into some. He successfully climbed as high as 6,920 metres (22,703) on Mount Everest. However, he died in his attempt, and his body was found the following year by a British expedition. There are rumours that he was wearing womens underwear and a large ladies dress shoe was found on everest at 21,000 feet.

Most widely considered to be the man in the green boots
He lost his life on a Summit mission in 1996. The cave is located at 27,890 feet (8 500 m), and is littered with spent oxygen bottles. His body remained in the cave for many years, passed by all climbers attempting the North Face. Until 2 years ago, when he disappeared. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_Boots

Lincoln Hall
Overcome by a severe form of altitude sickness, and showing no vital signs, Lincoln Hall was left for dead near the summit of Mount Everest by his Sherpa guides. The next morning, another climbing party found him sitting cross-legged near a precipitous drop, frostbitten and delirious, but still alive. "I imagine you're surprised to see me here," he told them. It was May 2006, and Hall had just survived a night alone at more than 28,000ft, without oxygen or protective clothing.
